Melissa is a registered assistant and holds her Series 7 and 63 licenses. She works very actively in management and transacting of everyday business.

She assists with researching mutual funds, stocks and annuities, rebalancing of clients accounts, input of financial plans, conducting trades on clients accounts and performance reports for clients. She may often be the one you work with to request or confirm a trade, request a report, request money or need help with forms.

Melissa started working for our firm in 2006 after graduating from the University of Utah in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance. Before working with Ellis Financial Group she worked in the mortgage and banking industry. She worked for Infinity Mortgage as an assistant loan processor for 1 year and for Zions Bank as a supervisor and teller for 3 years.

In Melissa's spare time she is involved with the Utah Dog Agility group where she is training her border collie to compete in agility. She and her husband Ben are also enjoying being the parents of a little boy born in December of 2007. Melissa also enjoys traveling, taking walks and being with family.
